Kenneth Albers (1965)

Greg Moeller, class of 65, passed away suddenly last Saturday.  Greg was one of my best friends at Pacific and San Jose State.  We both love cars and working on them which was the basis for our life long friendship.  He had the first Corvette I ever drove which started a love affair with Corvetttes that we both had.  He and Rita (Ruha) also class of 65, have a cabin at Donnar and we would always meet at Hot August Nights to go through the swap meet and check out all the cars all over town.  We would often discuss car issues and I'd give him my thoughts, usually a simple solution.  He would tell me later that 'I was over thinking it'.  I will certainly miss him.  RIP Greg.

I am saddened to hear that Greg Moeller had passed away. I remember him in high school as always having a smile on his face and a funny story to tell. Greg has entered into the hallowed halls of Valhalla where he will provide humor for our fellow Vikings enshrined there.

Vikings were supposed to have an All Classes Reunion in 2022..but it was cancelled and I was told there would be a Reunion in 2023..I hope so...been too man years since I've some my old classmmates..might not hppen if not this year..does anyone know if the will be a Re-union this year?

We are not having an all year due to know one wanting to take charge of planing it. It is a very hard task to do and the ones who have been planing it for years are very tired and with the new strict rules it is even more difficult.  I know it is sad. They were so much fun and I flew out for most of them from Ohio.  Maybe someone will want to do the hard work again.

Today I post asking for Prayers & positive thoughts for classmate 1970 Sam Martin.Tomorrow Sam is under going surgery for a full knee replacement.While this is not a dangerous procedure it will be a little painful post surgery and PT required for several months.I  know Sam will be well supported by His soul-mate Retha & Family..Thank you classmate for also supporting Sam in thought & Prayers.Lil Ralphie Martin

Update Sammy Martin Surgery: Surgery Postposed until next Wednesday.....Surgery was postposed  @ Doctor ordered a right knee replacement and a LEFT Knee replacement was sent to Hospital.

Sam mine was same day surgery.  I was home walking hours after the surgery. Thank God I have a wife who is a nurse.  Ice will be your best friend.  PT is essential.  Work hard at it.  I am now without a cane and climbing the pyramids and generally traveling the world again.

Hi Vikings,

I just learned about 2 weeks ago Linda Babbino died last year,  She lived next door to me and we did many things, lost touch after I was married, got back for awhile and then nothing again.

I;m learning now doesn;t last but that moment.  Karen Denham "68, Denise Fesler Evans (also passed, had gone back east and lost touch), Karen's sister Janet and Drew, Micky, Butch, Larry Fenicle, Dave Junkeit all had great times together. The snack bar and battle of bands and then it was gone.  I messed up. I want to instill in my grandkids, and kids how precious life is.  I don't know how to think goodbye except i know I will see her when I pass. But it will be different.

All of you I have said I love, I care or didn't make that call or email to, I am sorry, I do care and ask your forgiveness.

May the Lord who blessed us with a great school and student and faculty family continue to keep us safe in His arms and keep us together, even when we  mess up and miss you.
