Went to Cal State University, Hayward where I received my BS and MS in Education. I taught public school for 38 years in Modesto and was an adjunct professor for 13 years. I am now retired from education, but I keep busy with our real estate investments, mentoring former students and their friends, and traveling the world. We have been to every state in the union and have seen all seven continents.

School Story:

Several funny memories involving cars. We used to go out in Ernie Lopez's Corvair and he would turn the engine off when we were driving downhill on the back roads to Castro Valley. When Steve Bennett was driving his bug we would pull up the parking brake. When Dan Moirao was driving his Dodge, I think, we used to push the buttons for the transmission.

How very sad. My condolences to the family. I was in San Leandro to take mom to the funeral of our neighbor of 72 years last week. When we drove by the Lantz's house mom reminisced about Mrs. Lantz and the family. She will be so sad to hear of her passing.
