I'm saddened to post that my sister, Judy Lewandowski, suddenly and unexpectedly passed away last night at the age of 67. Judy was a member of the Pacific High class of 1966. If you're so inclined, a donation of a bag of dog or cat food to your local animal shelter is something she would have appreciated.

Judy was a a close friend of mine during high school. She was a special person,a kind, funny compassionate person with a love for animals which we had in common. I remember so many fun times we shared. I was so hoping to see her at the 50th reunion. My condolences to the entire family. RIP my dear friend.Melanie Childs (1966)

I knew Judy in grammar school mainly because I delivered the Oakland Tribune to the Lewandowski family and had the chance to chat with her now and then. She was a bright and engaging personality. She will be remembered fondly.

I have fond memories of Judy's gentle spirit and send condolences to her family and friends. I will be donating food to Anthem Pets, a rescue organization, in her honor.

I'm so very sad to learn of your passing Judy. You were such a fun kid and a friend. Your love for animals was beyond compare, and just seeing your smile every day was that of a ray of sunshine. Rest easy Judy, you will be missed by all. Fare thee well.
