After working in education as a music teacher, English teacher, history teacher, and school administrator for San Jose Unified, New Haven Unified (James Logan) and San Ramon Unified (Pine Valley MS) in addition to my first 16 years teaching in San Leandro and as President of the SLTA in 1987, I am now retired, but publishing an international magazine on toy train collecting for which i am still active traveling to Nuremberg, Germany every winter for the Toy Fair, as well as two trips to Pennsylvania each year and a national convention which moves around the country.
Yes, I still play bass trombone in the Hayward Park Band and at Redwood Chapel Community Church in Castro Valley
