Mrs. Camp...as she was known to us girls...she put the fear of god in us when we were up to no good...but I also remember a very soft, lovely lady when she would have a chat or say Hi to us in the hallways...or a "hurry on to class" is one I usually got! Caught me smokin' in the bathroom and said "dump it and get back to class". Had me shaking in my boots. She could have busted me but instead took the other path...fond memories of you Mrs. Camp...

I never had to see her in office when I was at Pacific High and I was the invisible student so imagine how surprised I was when I had a chance meeting with her years after I graduated and she knew who I was!  Now that is really amazing to me and it made me love her!

Marjorie Camp was another life changing teacher/administrator in my life.  I didn't officially belong to the Honor's Club but because I asked her, allowed me to go to many of the field trips of the group.  It was very grand for me to get exposed to Armenian food on one trip or visit Stanford and see a Shakespearean play.  She was always kind to me.
