Residing In: Dublin, CA USA
Occupation: retired
Children: I have a beautiful daughter, married and two grandchildren, that I try to spend as much time with as More…I can. They are both into ice hockey, soccer and baseball. My grandaughter,Ava is 5 yrs old, just started ice hockey this year, she learned so much from her big brother, Gabe 9 yrs old, and so far she still likes it. Its really so much fun watching them both play, and I love cheering them on.
I just moved to Dublin, use to live in Union City, to be closer to them. Of course my daughter is so much happier now that I am not so far away from them, comes in handy when they need a babysitter, LOL! Hey, I am not complaining, those two little ones, well not so little anymore, but they keep me busy, and never cease to amaze me.
Comments:

I am now just enjoying my retirement, but I can't believe I am saying this, I really miss not working. I guess when you work for so many years, you don't realize what a big adjustment it is once you stop. Maybe someday I would like to work at least part time somewhere.

My husband just passed away four years ago, and that is another reason my daughter wanted me closer to her. So I sold my home and moved out here to Dublin.

I have more to say, but right now I need to get ready and run some errands. Never a dull moment, where does the time go. I really am glad that I found out about this site. I really look forward to read about others that graduated from Pacific High. I learned about this site from my sister in law Frances(Lopez) Lewis, she also graduated from Pacific! I think that she graduated in "67". In fact we both worked at Golden Grain in San Leandro, and she was the one that introduced me to my husband! He was her husbands brother. At the time I had just divorced my first husband and was not at all interested in dating, much less ever getting married again. She had to talk me into going out with him, and I figured, why not it was only one date and I was not going to have to marry the guy! Boy did I eat my words, who knew? That was the best decision I had made. He was wonderful, and he was the best dad to my two chidren, from my first marriage In fact that's what they called him, their "DAD". So, now I am learning to live my life as a single person. I'm getting there. Not easy, but I'm good.

Got to go, hope to have more time later to try and connect with others.

School Story:

Don't have time to do this right now, but hope to later.

I am truly going to miss my friend, Virgie.  She never really lost her sense of humor, even through her last days.  Me and Alicia Trujillo Ferrari, were able to go see her in the hospital and there she was, again being her funny, yet a bit bossy self, LOL!  You would have never known that she was on her last days with us.  She never let on about the pain, or any other emotion of feeling sorry for her self.  It did our heart good to see her that way, funny and entertaining us.  We left feeling good. Little did we know that a few days weeks later we would loose her.  We will miss her big heart, her friendship and most of all her laughter.  Rest in peace my friend.
