Barb and I are living in Waxhaw, NC, which is about 3 miles from SC. Moved here a couple years ago to help Barb's mother and be near her family. Waxhaw is a very small town about 25 miles from Charlotte. Peace and quiet and people treat you like very respectifully. The Bible Belt is where we are. Funny, there is a Baptist Church on every corner and us being Catholic, I feel like Davy Crockett at the Alamo. Great to hear "yes, sir and no, sir, again. I was getting very disgusted with California. It just seems like all our family values we use to have as kids, has disappeared there. When I found this site, I became very sad seeing fellow classmates had passed. I decided to let everyone know that "I am still looking down at the grass, not up from it".
Retired from Frito-Lay, about 11 years ago. I still love my Cal Bears, no matter how they are doing. I have got to be the biggest UC Berkeley fan in the Carolina's. I really miss that school, but with Directv, I still get to watch them and root for them. Of course, I am still a very big Raiders Fan too. They are awfully bad. Reminds me of our football teams in the early 60's. My wife, Barbara was from Newark. She attended Newark High.
Lot more I could say, but save it for another time.
I do know of one other classmate that is still around and living in San Leandro, John Triberti. We've known each other since kindergarten.

Very sorry to hear this news. Our VIKING'S are slowly passing into God's hands. I had several classes with Ron. I love this site, but every time I come back here another classmate passes. RIP Ron. Merry Christmas to all. Rich Allen

Rich, Danny P here. Dude have you some amazing memories. Kelly Ave, West end rascals, street ball, bikes,bikes, bikes. Brothers all over the place. I'm doing ok, lost Ricky to Cancer, over 2 years ago. Thinking about Gary? Goofy like the rest of us but one pretty talented musician. Joyce sang in a couple of his bands. How you been? I'm back in San leandro, worked at city hall for 38 years. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving. D

Gary was my next door neighbor. We were the Kelly Ave. kids. We all pretty much went our separate ways after High School. This was a fantastic neighborhood. So very sorry to hear this news. I knew John from John Muir and Pacific. He was a good friend and a great student. Losing classmates from our class of 64 is way too soon for me. We shared many classes together but I was not in his level of intelligence.  RIP in peace, John.

Wanda, I do remember that story from High School. We had many classes together back then Starting at John Muir through Pacific. I hope you are doing well. My wife and I live in North Carolina in the small town of Waxhaw. So far we are safe from the VIRUS.
My favorite time at Pacific was being in Mr. Bond's drama class and having parts in all the plays.
