Passed away Feb. 24, 2014. He was 68 years old and he was survived by his loving wife Darleen of 38 years. He was a wonderful father to his children Anthony Crudele & Jennifer Rice. He also had 3 beautiful grandchildren Hayden, Hailey & Nicholas Rice. Anthony was a dedicated Captain of the Oakland Fire Department for 34 years and he was well known and respected for his service. The impact that he made on his family, friends and the OFD will not be forgotten. Anthony will be greatly missed by those he meant so much to.
Family & Friends are invited to the Chapel of the Chimes Memorial Park 32992 Mission Blvd. Hayward, CA. Services will be held Tuesday March 11th at 12:00 noon at the Mission Chapel.

a nice person i will remember him from school, i knew his folks who shopped where i worked then and saw him often in store with them

He was our much older neighbor growing up. A very nice person, so much like his Italian father. My mother will be sorry to hear of his passing. We were talking about him recently.
