67-78..played: surfing, rock climbing, skin diving free and scuba , river fishing trout and steelhead.
78-80 Health issues..testicular cancer, L4 disc issues...both OK now.
80's to 90's: Duck/Phesant hunt, fly fishing, salt fishing, mountain biking and some road riding, hunt antelope, elk, mountain goat.
90's to present: Windsurfing (SFBay, Coumbia River-Gorge, Delta, SanLuisRes, Baja); Surfing (SCruz, Kauai, Baja); Mountain Biking (SCruz hills, Bend OR, TransAlps--Austria/Switz/Italy); FlyFishing (CA, Montana, Wyoming, Idaho, Christmas Island, Britsh Columbia, Alaska, Seychelles); SnowBoarding (CA,OR,ID,WY,MO); Tourist Travel (Japan, Thailand, New Zealand, Northern Europe...even saw Nico in Holland).
2001 retired PAFD Deputy Chief.

Hi John,
What a pleasant surprise to hear from you. I’m sitting at a trailer campsite with the 5th wheel along the Columbia River for my annual windsurf trip. Pleasant memories back to you. It still is an internal debate if you or Ricky Piava had the greatest smile. I quickly read your classmate posting and see you are elder of a fantastic family. You mentioned playing golf with Ray F. please say hello for me. We have threatened to play together but I have set a goal of losing less tha 8 balls around before we do it. I can’t reach my goal.
