My dear friend, I will miss you. Rest in Peace. I'm sad you made Per and I keep your secret, that you were sick, I'm sure many people would have liked to reach out to you. We had a great summer romance back in the 70's. You, me, Deanna, and Per had a great time back then. Whenever I see a Planet of the Apes movie, a Beach Boy song, or see a Woody Wagon, I'll have a great smile on my face. Go pain-free my friend, until we meet again.

Stu was my childhood friend & neighbor. We were Cub Scouts together; his mom was the Den Mother of our local gang of Cubbie Scouts.  It is weird and painful to realize that he's gone, and reminds me that our time on this planet is terribly brief.

Thank you for your apology - forgiven long ago.  Rest In Peace.

Stu was a good guy, I can remember hours of playing bumper pool in Tom Truex's garage.  Good times growing up on Locust Street.  He will be missed.

I spent the school year 1971/72 with my "brother" Stu as a Danish foreign exchange student living with the Wenkheimer family. I have fond memories of him begging his mother for a dollar for gas so we could cruise the strip in the Woody Saturday evenings. We went double dating for drive-in movies, hunting rattlesnakes in the foothills with a couple of 20 gauge shotguns and hunting stray cats late evenings with his two dogs Jet and Chino. So many memories - I can't believe he is gone. Fortunately, I got to visit several times, latest in 2007 with my whole family. I am happy to stay in touch with his children - that keeps the memories alive.
