Wayne Childree (1965)

Another Viking has entered Valhalla!!! Richard Childree class of 1962 passed peacefully in his sleep in Arizona  Rich lettered in football and baseball and joined the navy shortly after high school    He is survived by his loving wife Kaye, his sons Bill, Jim and David, 6 grandchildren and numerous great children    He is loved and missed by all   I will dearly miss my brother as he was always there to support me

i very well remember rich from football and basball.  on the football team he was a fullback linebacker and the punter he always gave he's all playing and p[racticing  baseball catcher and right field he was a good hitter putting the ball in play and he had a great arm  i was just the day before yesterday to the kid about rich's arm was i will remember rich

Yes, most of us in the class of 1970 are turning 70 or have turned 70. Love the picture of the both of them. Wish Sam would come to our class reunion in June. Who knows, may be one of our last ones to see those of us still kicking it.
