Ricky "Rick" Lopez

November 18,1949 - August 24, 2016

Ricky Gordon Lopez passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on August 24,2016 at the age of 66. Rick was born in Oakland to Edward and Mary Lopez as the first of three sons, Michael (Yvonne), Anthony.

Rick served two tours in Vietnam in the Army and enjoyed a 30-year career in law enforcement for the CIty of San Leandro.

Rick is survived by his wife, Susan; 3 Children, Charmane Howard (Dan), Eric Lopez (Audrey), Amber Lamendola (Jason); and 6 grandchildren, Carl, Liberty, Jordan, Cameron, Max and Oliver.

Viewing will be held on Thursday Sept 8 from 5 to 8:30 pm at Holy Angels Sorensen Chapel.  Funeral Services will be held on Friday Sept 9 at 11 AM at Holy Angels Sorensen Chapel, 1140 B Street in Hayward.
