My big sister Patty was one of the most loving and giving people I have ever known. On October 21, 2015, she suffered a fatal heart attack while in her sleep. She was survived by her 4 children , 5 grandchildren, 2 younger sisters and all of our children, along with about 31 cousins, spread throughout Mexico and the United States . She lived in Oregon and would make the trip down for our all years class reunions, which had been the highlight of her summers recently. Although she missed the last reunion, she still made it down for a couple of weeks late in July after she missed 2, and almost a third flight to get here. I was thankful for having had great quality time with my big sister, "my person", whom I will forever miss dearly. She had been a 10+ year breast cancer survivor . She loved her dogs, her favorite color was orange , and she loved giraffes. Her children and family were the most important things in the world to her. She loved to karaoke. I miss her so much and pray that despite her early passing, she will be able to R.I.P.
