BURT WAS ONE OF THE NICEST, KNDEST PEOPLE I HAVE EVER KNOWN EVEN TO THIS DAY. HE WAS FUNNY, AND A LOYAL FRIEND.  I HAVE MISSED HIM AND I LOOK FORWARD TO ART CLASS WITH HIM IN HEAVEN.  BURT I LOVE YOU,    CINDY

Burt left us much too soon, he was always kind to everyone.  I will never forget the huge Catholic church was overflowing from it seemed like every student from high school and his family and friends.  I still think of him, he was so accepting.

Burt...

Many years have passed since I stood with Donna Knab at your gravesite. We all cried huge tears...I used to call you my Lil Brother! Beautiful smile and beautiful heart! Funny story only you would laugh at...I was driving my old '59 Chevy (you remember!!) Anyway we kept hearing this horn blowing and Donna and I were saying back and forth how rude for someone to blow their horn during a funeral procession down Mission Blvd. I then realized the noise was coming from under my hood (guess we shouldn't have smoked that doobie). We pulled out from procession and turned into gas station, lifted the hood, and one of my hoses had a hole in it. I freaked out with the service man and he got some heavy duty tape and sent us on our way...we made it finally to the funeral and to see you for the last time. I really loved you Burt...such a stupid accident... you always made everyone around you happy and if I have to go, I hope to leave the same memories as you! You have been sorely missed!! xxx  broken heart
