She was the beloved wife of Ray Thomas Arnold, Jr. Nancy was born in Oakland, California on March 21, 1951 and spent her life in nearby San Leandro. Nancy was my baby sister. Their wasn't a kinder, more gental person on this earth. She was loved by all who new her. She spent her life trying too please everyone she could, and never asking for anything in return. Her passing has cut me deeply with grief. I'm not sure if I'll ever get over her passing. I miss her terribly . l hope she's resting in piece .

Hello Larry

My condolonces to you and your family on the passing of Nancy.   I did not know Nancy that well but from what I did know she was exactly what you said, everytime I saw her she always had a smile on her face.  The last time I saw her was at Bancherios with your sister Darlene, I am glad I took the time to have a conversation with her.  I know she had health issues from a very early age but she lived a very productive and giving life doing the things that I am sure made her happy.  I know her soul will always be with you and your family, with that I hope you find some peace in her passing.

Kathy Pierce

Dear Larry,

I was deeply sorry to hear of Nancy's passing. She will live on in you, dear brother. Love never dies, it is seen through all who do love her and it passed down and out and through all that we do and say in the name of the one who has gone before us.

I lost my sister 21 years ago. I honor her name by doing things in her name, outreaches, World Vision, Red Cross Blood donation, Salvation Army volunteer at times or other organizations. But even in small ways... you can honor her... helping someone in need keeps me close to her, because that was what she did and now can not,  perhaps you may feel that same way.

You could also write a journal of your memories.. it is hard to write, at first, but once the words start filing the pages, you may notice that some memories are so precious, such as laughing at situations, or having shared each others experiences, are both theraputic as well as warm and glorious. You see, not everyone gets to have beautiful memories of those who have passed.. some have sad memories or unfinished business.

You and I both have wonderful loving memories of our sisters and that is a Blessed gift from God.

I am praying for your pain to float away and be replaced with warm and soft beautiful memories. God has a plan for each of us and apparently He still needs us here to fulfill our path. Life is short, as everyone says, lets look out instead of inward and see what we can do to help others .. be useful and honorable for the name of our sisters.

Nancy was indeed a kind and loving person. I remember her with kind thoughts.

God Bless her and God Bless you as you continue to journey your path, with an outward and loving life.

With heartfelt sincerity,

Nita Tyree

Nancy lived just down the road from us and it was great to see her smiling face everyday.  She was always nice, never saying a bad word about anyone.  If you need help in any form she was right there for you. She'll be greatly missed.
