One nickname for Frank was "Tiger Frank." He was unique as a wrestler, the crowd would start screaming "Pin, pin, pin" right from the start of his matches and he often beat his opponent within the first minute of the match. He was fearless and aggressive when he played on the football team.
I wrestled with Frank, I was the one who had to diet to wrestle down one weight class because I couldn't beat Frank. The amazing thing about Frank's matches was his opponents always knew what he was going to use to pin them; I recall he called it the Whizzer. They knew it was coming yet somehow he almost always managed to pull it off and pin them.
