While vacationing in August In Maryland my cousin in law Michele Volpe-Bazzel passed away from severe COPD and cardiac arrest. Such a tragedy in loosing some one so soon in life. Our whole family will miss her smiling face and just her presents. And for the people who knew her, there will be a service in Fremont at the Fremont memorial chapel 3723 Peralta Blvd Fremont Ca 94536. Service will start at 2:00 pm

Shelly and I became close friends at James Madison Elementary School.  I have great memories from elementary all the way through high school of Shelly.  The last time I saw Shelly was at one of our class reunions.  She was in great spirits and it was wonderful to see her.  Shelly will be greatly missed.

I can't begin to express what I felt when I heard that Shelly had passed. It is only now that I am able to. She was a great friend of mine in high school, we had so many laughs together at school and on the phone.  As we all do after graduation, lose contact with many of our friends. Shelly was one of them.  It got to us seeing each other at past reunion. It always was as if we had never been apart. She and Gayle Cain Ward were/is the highlight of my attending the reunions. Not many people knew or used my family nickname (MOE) except for Shelly and Gayle! I know Shelly is happy to be with her husband and son. They are once again a family in a happier place. I will always treasure my friendship with Shelly. Love and miss you greatly.
