Esther Conklin (Stone) Class of 68 died on June 29 after an almost 19 year battle of stage IV breast cancer.  She declined in health since the beginning of May when her cancer doctor saw the body scans were showing cancer increasing in size in several parts of her body.  Her doctor stopped treatment and offered Hospice services.  We did home Hospice for most of the 2 months until I could no longer pick Essie up for bed/toilet.  She only spent 3 days in the Hospice facility in Yreka before passing quickly/peacefully.

**We have been able to book Essie’s memorial service on Saturday, July 13 at 10:30am.  It will be at the Girdner Funeral Chapel on 202 South Oregon Street, Yreka California.  There will not be a casket because Essie requested cremation.  Daughter Kaitlin is here for about 2 weeks and is helping me thru this challenging time.
