MICHAEL T. O'MARA Passed away on Thursday, October 11, 2007 in San Leandro, CA. He was born on April 22, 1948 in Oakland, CA. The son of the late Patrick and Julia O'Mara. He is survived by his daughter Kimberly O'Mara of Castro Valley, CA, daughter and son in law Keli and Scott Campbell of Napa, CA. Three grandsons Dakota Johnson, Blake Johnson, and the newest grandson to arrive in December. Survived by five siblings: Brothers Patrick O'Mara of San Leandro, CA, Eugene O'Mara of Casa Grande, AZ, Kevin O'Mara of La Grange, CA. Sisters Sharon McKiernan of Forest Hills, CA, Margaret Weminski of Placerville, CA. He was preceded in death by his brother Daniel O'Mara, and nephew K.C. O'Mara. He leaves behind many nieces and nephews Michael was a graduate of Pacific High School in San Leandro, CA. He spent many years in the HVAC industry as a salesman. He will be remembered for his love of Fishing, Camping, and the KING of the barbecue. He also makes a mean spaghetti sauce and will always be the best at delivering a good joke. Memorial service to be held Wednesday, October 17, 2007 at Eden United Church of Christ, 21455 Birch, Hayward, CA 94541 at 2PM (Pioneer Chapel @ Birch and Grove). Interment to be at VA National Cemetery in Gustine, CA. It will be Private at a later date.
