Rest in peace brother...you were taken from us too soon and we honor your sacrifice.  God Bless you and your family.

I have Richard's name that was traced by my daughter at the Vietnam Wall in Washington D.C...When her husband was stationed at Quanico, I asked her to find the ones that I could remember that we lost in that war.  If any of Richard's relatives are interesting in having this, please send me a message with information on how to get it to you.

Thanks so much Maria, Richard was my uncle. I graduated in 1972 from Pacific High and served two years in the Army following my uncles footsteps. I would very much appreciate that information. My name is John T. McCarthy, P.O. Box 63477, Pipe Creek, Texas 78063, again thanks so much Maria.

John McCarthy,

I will get that out to you today or Monday.  All I ask in return is that you let me know that you receive it.  The last one I sent to relatives I also asked but never heard anything.  I am am sorry about your uncle.  He was a good young man.

I also hung out with Richard, along with my other friends Dave Jefferis and Ed Schultz. He did not live far from us. I was in Vietnam the same time he was and I learned of his death while I was there. To this day, it burdons me to think about it. He was such a good looking, fine young man. He had a bright future. God rest his soul.

Larry, I have good memories of our time together. Glad we are still here.

Darold

Rich. Their isn't a day that goes bye that I don't think of you. Even after nearly 47 years, it seems as though it were yesterday. Memorial Day is almost here. I'm dedicating my day to you, and all Veterans who gave the ultimate sacrifice so I can live the life I have today. May all of you forever rest in peace. Larry.
