Milt was my Brother-inlaw. He was a Soundman, running the sound system at Winterland, Fillmore and many places around the Bay. Went. Europe on tour with Crosby, Stills and Nash and to Africa with Ike and Tina Turner. As a young teenager he took me to many of the local shows teaching me about that culture in a protected way. I learned many things from Milt. He was a great guy and will be sorely missed by his friends and family.

Wayne Plemmons (Plemmons) (1966)
Milt, Chris Brown and I were great friends and lovers of things technical. I remember us in Mr Wicks electronics class doing some crazy things with the equipment. All in good fun of course.
It makes sense that Milt would stay in the electronics field as a soundman for some of the best musicians in the business. I was saddened to hear that he had passed on. But like the Righteous Brothers said, "If there's a Rock & Roll heaven, You know they got a hell of a band." He's probably doing sound checks for them all.
