My memories of Judy was that she was one of the sweetest girls I went to school with. She was kind and had a gentle spirit about her. At the time we were growing up and attending Pacific High those kinds of thoughts never cross you mind but she was just one of those friends you liked to hang around. I was so hurt when I heard the passing of Judy. I hope she's at peace and rest and in alot better place, she deserves to be there.

Dearest Judy,
I will miss you all the days of my life!! I miss laughing with you, sharing thoughts with you, seeing your beautiful eyes and hugging you. You were a brilliant witness to Christ, our Savior.
Your loving sister,
Nita

Judy Burns Chappelle,

Submitted by Juanita Tyree, sister of Judy.

Judy had three children, Jack, Gino and Juanita from her first marriage and five step children from her third marriage and seventeen grandchildren to date.

Judy had four careers, she was a beautician in San Leandro, Black Jack dealer at Harrah’s in Lake Tahoe, then at, what is now called Bally’s in Reno, then went back to school and became a tree marker then fire fighter for the Forestry Division in the Graeagle area of California.

Judy was a strong Christian and taught Sunday school at her church, played the piano and helped the children learn their Sunday school messages through stories, crafts and songs.

She gave foot massages and painted finger and toe nails of her grand daughters and swam in the Old Mill Pond in Graeagle. She planted hundreds of flowers in her beautiful home gardens. She was kind to everyone and she frequently helped anyone in need.

She adored her husband, David, and they hiked, rode dirt bikes and danced to Cajun and Zedeco music. She loved life and she loved every person she met. She was an incredible person and a loving, nuturing sister.

If you knew you, she loved you.

I was blessed to have her as my sister.

Respectfully submitted with love,
Nita Burns Tyree
