ABOUMRAD, Joseph Daniel, 65, passed away July 8, 2013 in San Diego, Calif. In 1966, Joe graduated from Pacific High School in San Leandro. He earned a degree in engineering from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo and worked as an electronic engineer for the Navy in San Diego. Joe loved singing in the choir, traveling and exercising. Joe is survived by his longtime companion, Terri Bui; daughters, Tabatha and Sirena; 4 granddaughters; sister, Phyllis; and 2 nieces and 3 nephews. He is predeceased by his parents, Philip and Lucille Aboumrad; and brother, Edward. Services will be held on Friday, Aug. 9, at 11 a.m. at Santa Sophia Catholic Church, 9800 San Juan St., in Spring Valley, Calif.
