Leslie Olson (Bouchia) - Class Of 1965

LESLIE ANN BOUCHIA June 12, 1947 - February 13, 2005 Leslie Ann Bouchia was born in San Mateo, California, on June 12, 1947. On February 13, 2005, she was called to Heaven and given her wings in her San Leandro home with her family by her side. Welcoming her to Heaven are her father, Beuford Olson, and her mother-in-law, Ida Bouchia. Carrying on her legacy will be her husband, Gary Bouchia, her mother, Lucille Olson, her sister, Sharon Fernandes, her daughters, Cindy Schwenger and Tammy Thorne, her stepdaughter and son, Laura Raleigh and Wes Bouchia, and her sons-in-law, Joey Schwenger and Erin Raleigh. She was a loving "Vava" to her four grandchildren, Alexandria and Noah Schwenger, and Madison and Marissa Raleigh. Leslie was a graduate of Pacific High School in 1965. She earned her associate's degree from Chabot College, and later graduated from the medical transcription program at Chabot College. Leslie was an avid, competitive golfer with a hole in one under her belt. She loved traveling in her RV, later named "Seester," with her husband, sister and friend Marlene. Leslie loved to plan vacations with her family to Tahoe, Reno, Hawaii, Mexico and Morro Bay. We miss you dearly. There will never be another "wifee," "Seester," "Mom," "Allen-Stepmom," "Vava," "Daughter" and "Mamasita" that could ever replace you. You were truly one of a kind. Friends and family are respectfully invited to attend a celebration of her life on Friday, February 18, at 12:30 p.m. at St. Felicitas, 1650 Manor Blvd., San Leandro. Donations may be made in Leslie's honor to: PanCan, 2221 Rosecrans Ave., Suite 131, El Segundo, CA 90245. Chapel of the Chimes "Service of Marked Distinction" (510) 471-3363 www.chapelofthechimes.com

Robert Morris (Jr. ) (1965)

Leslie was my partner in DR Simmons class. I will never forget when we were cleaning out the guts from our Rat and  all of a sudden Leslie blurted out the word shit. Dr Simmons did his jaw vibrations that would make anyone want to die. RIP My fellow classmate. Bob Morris
