I just found out about Sandy's passing. Having gone from kindergarten through Pacific with her, no person I have ever met could have been more friendly and gracious. What a terrible disease. Sandy, you are missed by many and will never be forgotten.
Sandy and I had our date to the Senior Ball in '63 together. What a beautiful lady! We were the same height with her in heels, so I was a bit intimidated by that. We had a terrific time, double dating with Jeannie Matinez and Dave Velasquez. I learned of her death at our 40th reunion in about 2003. I was devasted. I had hopes of chatting with her. Rather traumatized, I left the reunion early, the only reunion I've been to aside from our 10th at the Blue Dolphin. So I missed some opportunities to see my classmates. I'll give it another try.

Such a gracious young lady - always friendly and loved by many. A terrible, terrible disease.

Sandy was always a nice lady and loved to help everyone. A loss to the world.
