Mark was a great guy and we were good friends through school. My fondest memory was flying model airplanes at Grover Cleveland. We had some monster crashes and one in particular where a big plane hit a teather ball pole and went up in a ball of flame. We both just stood there and said WOW!!We then laughed a bit. I felt bad for Mark and then He said. " The plane only cost me 5 bucks but the crash was worth every penny and more. Don Large

Mark Hooper was the coolest guy I ever knew.  He was like Milner in "American Graffitti."  He always had hot cars and hot girl friends.  I used to love to hang out in his garage and "help" him work on his car and maybe sneak a beer once in a while.  It was a pleasure to sit out there freezing my butt off, just to hand him tools.

He is missed !
