Only a short time after meeting him again did I find out about his passing; he was running the spotlights at a SLHS musical and I saw his name in the program and we talked during the entire intermission - seems that he was a volunteer there & at Bancroft, he loved stage shows! We never "did lunch" as planned, and I'm sad about that - he still had that jolly laugh, and he was a good tenor. His "readings" at school programs were great: The "Is There A Santa Claus" letter; and "How The Grinch Stole Christmas" were read to perfection at assemblies! Nick V. '64
