I found out yesterday that Chuck Raynor passed away 11/7/08 after a short battle with cancer.  Chuck was my best friend throughout our early years and through my 20's.  We lost contact somehow, but I still remember his quick wit and unqualified friendship.  He was always someone you could count on.  We spent many summers going to Clearlake and we did almost everything together. I taught Chuck how to play guitar so we could put together our first band the Starliners that also included Jerry Kreitzer and Ken DeBolt.  A memorial is being planned possibly in March.  I will pass along any more info I receive.
