Obituary for Glenn Rosaaen

Glenn A. Rosaaen, 66, of Rawlins, WY passed away July 19, 2015. He was born May 18, 1949 in Oakland, CA to parents W.O. “Spike” and Olga “Butch” Rosaaen. He graduated from Pacific High School in San Leandro, CA in 1967. He then served as a Sgt. in the U.S. Air Force from 1968 to 1970 as an aircraft crew chief on B-52s. He held various mechanic positions throughout the San Francisco Bay Area in CA before moving to Rawlins, WY, where he was a bartender at a local bar before retiring.
Glenn was an avid reader of just about everything, but had a particular fondness for Louis L’Amour, Tom Clancy and Stephen King books. He enjoyed cooking and experimenting with various flavors in his kitchen.
Survivors include his sons, Joshua Rosaaen of Meadow Vista, CA and Kyle Rosaaen of San Leandro, CA; daughter, Erin Cunningham of Middleboro, MA; brother, Terry Rosaaen of Folsom, CA; ex-wife, Shari Rosaaen of San Leandro, CA; seven grandchildren; two great-grandsons; and several nieces and nephews throughout CA.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Timothy and Steven Rosaaen.
At Glenn’s request, no services will be held.

i met glenn at woodrow wilson in 6th grade when i moved to san leandro from oakland. we would hang around together at the dances on fridays. us as little kids were seeing 2 sisters from school. we had some fun times. smoking at the back of the school. i was sorry to hear of glenn's passing. my heart goes out to his family. may he rest in peace.
