Freddie Flores was my friend, a rock-solid true friend, and will always be in my heart. I first got to know Freddie when we were both about 10 years old. We met at Cherry Grove Park and later hung out at times in our Jr. High School years. Then I moved to Mulford Gardens and got to know Freddie very well. Through good times and not so good times Freddie was always someone I felt would be in my corner if need be, and me in his. He was always quite a charismatic, confident type guy with a good sense of humor. Over the years, our paths parted courses, but he was one of my very special friends.
