Diana Maria Gonzalves passed away on July 24, 2016 she is from the Class of 1977 ,Go Vikings. She was waiting for a double lung transplant, and after a 2 1/2 year struggle with COPD she wen on to be with the Lord.... Her ashes will be scattered on the ocean, so think of her when you are "by the sea"... is what her daughter said today... she leaves behind a daughter and a son, who are strong great individuals....because she was an excellent mom ! She came here from Portugal when she was 8. ... she was a waitress at Ploughmans and the Englander for decades... say a prayer for a fellow Viking who is my best friend. Be well... Tracy Ballew

I just came across this memorial. I'm so sorry to hear of Diana's passing. It's hard to believe so many of my classmates have left this earth much too soon. She was a beautiful young woman as I recall in high school and a wonderful woman and mother from what I've read. I wish I had known she worked at Ploughmans and the Englander when she was alive.
