In Memory

Jackie Coghlan - Class Of 1971

Jackie Coghlan

Jackie passed away on April 8, 2019 in Castro Valley, California.

Jackie was born in 1953 in Oakland to John and Lilia Puccini Coghlan. Jackie went through her school years in San Leandro and upon graduation she worked for various moving and trucking companies. At every job, she was well liked by so many, who are still a big part of her life. Jackie cared deeply for her friends and helped them when they were in need, her passion has always been to help others. She was so full of life, and her smile was beautiful, genuine and fun. It made your day to spend time with her.

Jackie loved cats and over the years adopted some special needs kitties who were able to have a safe and loving home.

She loved her crafting over the years, everything she made was so special, not a card would be mailed unless it was decorated. Many of her friends have been gifted with some of her beautiful jewelry she made or beautiful crystal suncatchers. Everything she made sparkled, just like her personality.

Jackie was a beloved and wonderful daughter, sister, aunt and friend. She is deeply missed.

She is survived by her sister Loretta Coghlan Cipro, her nephew Alex Cipro, her dearest friend Tim Arnold and her cousin, Sebastiano (Enrica) Micheli in Italy.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her brother Richard Coghlan.

I always considered Jackie as a good friend...kind to all. A smile that would light up her face...gorgeous hair and I remember well when she won the title of Best Dressed in school. I don't need a yearbook to see her face to this day...may your memories help with the grief of your passing to your family and friends.
