MICHELLE BERNTSON ("Pee Wee the Clown") 45, passed away at her home on January 3, 2004 surrounded by her family and friends. Michelle is survived by her mother Pat Berntson and sister Sharon Tucchinio both of San Leandro; grandmother Winona Haring of Hayward; nephews Steve Norman and Richard Martinez; and her special friend Harvey Beuchat of San Leandro. Michelle was employed by the DMV in Hayward and was a Union Steward for CSEA Local 1000. Michelle was an active member of Creekside Community Church, with many friends at Broadmoor Church also. An avid swimmer, scrabble player, karaoke singer, and traveler. As Pee Wee the Clown, Michelle won many prizes in local parades and loved to entertain at convalescent homes. Michelle will be missed by all who loved her and whom she loved. Visitation will be Friday from 12:00 noon to 8:30PM at Santos-Robinson Mortuary, 160 Estudillo Ave., San Leandro. A celebration of Michelle's life will be held Sunday, January 11, 2004 at 6:30PM at Creekside Church 951 MacArthur Blvd., San Leandro.
