With profound sadness my brothers Ruben, Rodel and and part of years for Ray (Pacific High Alumni) and I to share with you and most especially class of ‘75 that our dear sister Helen Quilalang Salamanca passed away on October 10, 2025 after a long ordeal with Alzheimer’s disease. She passed away in the Philippines.

I haven't seen Helen since a reunuion at the marina park. We had a wonderful conversation and a chance to catch up. She was simultaneously vibrant and friendly. That's a lasting memory
Alzheimer's is indeed an ordeal. I'm sorry to hear she suffered with that and my sympathies go out to her family.

I am so sorry to learn of Helen's passing and struggles with altzheimers disease. I always admired her for her kindness, intelligence, natural leadership, and strength. I was too shy back then to know her well, but I send my condolences to everyone who loved her and counted her as a friend.

I am saddened to hear of Helen's passing. My condolences to the entire family. Helen was an amazing person filled with kindness and a beaming smile. I am so sorry to hear that she battled Alzheimer's disease. Such a tragic diagnosis. I will keep Helen, her loved one's, and family of friends in my daily prayers. Rest in Paradise forever more beautiful friend. And may perpetual light shine upon you. We will see each other again in the forever Kingdom.
