Ellen Brazelton, wife, mother, sister, and friend has passed. Ellen left us on August 3rd, 2021 with her Husband and Son close by.
Although we grieve deeply, we believe she was welcomed into Heaven with loving arms by our Heavenly Father, and His Son Jesus Christ. We are comforted knowing one day we will join her in her final resting place.
Ellen is survived by her Husband of 47 years Jeff, Son Karl, Grandson Ian, Mother Jean, Sisters Bonnie and Jill, Brother Scott (Colleen), two Half-Brothers Bob (Rose), and Chuck (Brenda), and many more.
Ellen loved walking, hiking, and had an undying love for animals. The family asks that donations be made to Best Friends Animal Sanctuary in Utah, or the GoFundMe account set up online for Ellen Brazelton's Memorial Bench.
A Celebration of Life will take place 10-23-2021 at First Covenant Church, 4000 Redwood Rd, Oakland CA.

I am so sad about Ellen,  I grew up with Ellen from before elementry school all the way to 12th grade.  We lived in Bonaire,  She was such a great person.  Carol Matinenz and a few others of us had a nickname for her which was Penny.  We had so much fun in High School.  She will surely be missed.  My prayes are with her family and friends.  Rest in Peace Penny (Ellen)

Such a sad loss to hear of Ellen's passing. From James Madison to PHS and again recently on facebook we managed to stay in touch. She was smart, funny and a very kind woman. I always told her when were in Madison that it was so cool she lived next door to the school. My condolences to her family, I know they meant the world to her.
