Paul (Eddie) was my cousin by blood, but my brother in reality. My parents raised him after his mother (our Mom's sister passed away. I always felt blessed to have an older brother, and that's what he was, and how we interacted. After high school, Eddie ran away, joined the army, and went to Viet Nam, and was never the same. Once he married Carol, the old Eddie came back, and when Ashley was born, he was definitely back. I miss him every day, and do my best to keep Ashley in our lives.
