When I think about Ed "Head Ball" Hall I conjure up memories of Chevy's and a lot of burned rubber on the road. The imposing 6'5" figure of Ed was actually a pretty good guy who could talk anyone in or out of anything (the natural salesman). I laugh when I think of the scams we got involved in after high school selling vacuum cleaners and audio speakers, well at least trying to sell them.

Ed was a member of the Banana Brothers party club and at the time, made us all think he lived up to the reputation.  I still think about Ed each time I see a can of Olde English 800.

How ironic it is he died in an automobile accident as the one thing he took seriously was driving.

The last time I saw Ed he was selling Shaklee vitamins and was seriously considering starting a worm farm. Considering my options as his business partner I got out of sales and went into the military.

Ed was a heck of a guy and I will always miss him.
