Lawrence Fisher - Class Of 1970

Lawrence Fisher

John Pursley (1970)

It is unfortunate that as we grow older we lose friends and family members and it is with deep regret that I create this post informing everyone that Larry Fisher, class of 1970 passed away yesterday. For those fortunate enough to know Larry, we appreciate his sense of humor, work ethic, and most of all his big heart. Larry helped a lot of people in his life and often times put his wants and desires aside to make a difference in this world by doing what he could to assist people with their problems, concerns, or just to be around to talk. I've known Larry since kindergarten and we have been through a lot together, good times, bad times and questionable times. His passing is a great loss to me and the world in general. Larry was a Christian and a follower of Jesus so I am comforted in knowing he now resides in heaven and that one day I will see him again. Hopefully he will pave the way for me because Larry was a lot better person than I am or will be.

Larry was always very kind to me.

We connected a many years ago. He told me about his marriage and his devotion to AA.

He lived near his kids. He told me he was happy.

That is all most of us want.

May he be relaxing in the sun with the other Vikings.
