Maria,

So sorry to hear about the passing of your brother. You are so fortunate to have a sibling. Please focus on the fun times you had together to help ease the pain.

Maria,

Knew Arnold for years playing on memorable Davis Street Express sports teams. He was instrumental in organizing and managing a large group of talented players. Great times for us with many thanks to Arnold. All those who participated knew Arnold well and appreciated his every effort. God speed Arnold.

Much love,

Rich Westphal 1966

I am sorry for your loss, Maria. My younger brother, Guy, was best friends with you brother Danny, so I got to know Arnold by that association. He was a good soul; friendly, kind and thoughtful. May he rest in peace. My sincere condolences.

I am finally a OLD Man...Saturday I turned 75 yrs. old and I have accepted the fact I am no longer a young man...I had a great day playing Bingo & putting coins in the one arm Bandit  then a wondeful dinner at the neighbors home...A short update on Gail (Childers) is that she had double upper eye-lid surgery 10 days ago & had been limited to stay home in bed for about one more week...Gail will be an Old Lady on July 2 and will be back to normal....Lil Ralphie Martin

Dearest Ralph and ALL the Fantastic Vikings that enjoy our wonderful June Birthdays.  Ralph You are blessed by God with another beginning to another year, wonderful friends, a great crew of Pacific Vikings !!!!!!  Our building maybe gone but OUR HEARTS are together forever.  I'm so glad you had a wonderful time on your birthday.  BINGO, food, and friends couldn't be a MORE WONDERFUL TIME.  You were ahead of me in school, but through Sue I have been able to know You and so many wonderful family.  I was to be in Alaska on a honeymoon but illness has posponed that time and wedding.  So my Viking Sisters and that's Greg;s Maria too we still must get together again.  Again I so enjoyed my CLASS REUNION1968 the smallest but the MOST SPIRIT over 3 years is still thriving and caring;   And to the person who chided me for what he thought was a too personal posting on this site to another Viking member, well I'm glad I am here with ALL The HISTORY, TODAY, YESTERDAY< AND FOREVER.  HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ALL OF YOU and MAY GOD BLESS YOU ALL.  I DO LOVE AND CARE ABOUT ALL OF YOU    and will defend our Viking Heritage as long as I can.  In fact I did it again Sunday night to a member of SL Chamber.   Love, Peggy Wood 1968

Very sorry so hear of Jim's passing. He and I started school together in Oakland at Horaceman shcool and stayed in the same schools until we graduated in 1962. We then were drafted into the same Army unit in Jan. of 1966. The last time I saw him was at an Old Farts luncheon about 7 years ago. We remained friends since we started school in 1950. Jim was a good man and will be missed. Rest in Peace my old friend.
