Obituary for Gerald Charles Geiser

On August 17th, 2022, Gerald Charles Geiser, a Kind and
Gentle human being passed away at the age of seventy three. Born in Fredericksburg Texas and raised in the SF Bay Area, Gerald was a loving father but was a teacher and mentor to many more than just his own children. Gerry loved coaching any sport his kids were playing growing up. A body repairman by trade for 30+ years. Gerald loved helping people in need, a medic in Vietnam because he wanted to help people not hurt them. He was a long-time pool player and, in his retirement years, enjoyed travelling all over to play pool. “Pap-Pap” was loved by the family dog and his best buddy Bugzy. Bugzy would go nuts every time he saw him or even heard his car pull up into the driveway. Gerald was always joking and wise cracking with people. Had an infectious laugh and was always trying to cheer people up with a smart-ass comment. He would talk your ear off with a crazy story or anecdote. Gerald will be missed by everyone he knew. He is survived by his brother James Geiser and his three sons, Keith Geiser, Jeremy Geiser and Hershel Neese. A viewing will be held September 7, 2022 and a Celebration of life and storytelling about Gerry will be held on September 8, 2022 at Chapel of the Chimes, 32992 Mission Blvd, Hayward, CA 94544. In lieu of giving flowers, the family asks that those who are able instead donate to the PTSD Foundation of America (https://ptsdusa.org/)
