This breaks my heart. Bill and I and Jim Niskanen were the three amigos who took on John Muir from Floresta Gardens when all our mates went to Bancroft. We all had gone to James Monroe together and played chase games in elementary school. I lived at bottom end of the block, Carrillo Way and Billy at the top end and he used to come play at our end with the Dominguez Boys. We were a close knit gang then. We always stayed friends through school even tho we went our separate ways with friends. I am so sad to hear of this...may your family, Billy, have fond memories of you in their mind and heart to keep with them always. You were loved by me!
