My heart is broken. Kristine and I were very close from 3rd grade in elementary school on and all throughout the rest of our school years. I was in her parents home many times growing up. She played violin and I played clarinet in the James Monroe elementary school and John Muir junior high bands together. She played the violin beautifully! I believe she continued on in high school but I didn't. She was always the epitome of SWEETNESS! We reconnected at our 25th year Class of 1965 Reunion, where I believe I met her husband for the first time. We spent most of that evening fellowshipping together. We connected again in Hayward at an indoor antique shop where she had a booth. It was the first time I'd ever been in there. I was looking for Pinocchio items for my special needs grandson. I remember looking for her on Facebook. I did find her brother Rich. He gave me her phone number. I do think we connected a few times after that but I don't recall what year it was. I know I joined Facebook in 2009. She wasn't on FB but it was so special to connect with Rich to get her phone number again. I absolutely loved Mr. & Mrs. Ellis. They always made me feel very welcomed in their home. I am saddened to learn Kristine passed from COVID-19. My heartfelt love and prayers to her family. Love in the Lord, Barbara
