Bernard Gerhard passed away on May 29, 2022, from Parkinson's Disease. He is survived his wife Susan and two children, Heidi Gerhard Hessler and Kriste Marie Gerhard along with his grandson Riley Hessler.
So sad to learn of Bernard's (B.G.) passing. I used to see him at work (ER @ Merritt Hosp.), and we would catch up a little. I always saw him with a possitive outlook - the best he could. I didn't know he was sick. Condolences to his family.
I knew his name was really Bernard George but no one called him anything but "BG".BG" lived one house from where we lived. We didn't hang out together but we had a friendly relationhip.Always thought he was a good guy. My condolences to his family, sisters Dorsy (sp?) and Terry. I think he had a much younger brother but could easily be wrong. Rest well my friend.
I remember BG as a classmate, he lived about a couple of blocks from in San Leandro...what I Romberg is BG was on the quiz side, but said hello when passing by in the hallway...To his family you have my deepest sympathy.,,,,My nickname @ Pacific High was Tuggie one of the cheerleaders...
