I am so very saddened to learn of Mitch's passing. I know from his Facebook posts he was having a tough time and many of his friends (and I) offered encouragement and asked him to message us, anytime, in order to pass along our phone numbers and speak with him directly. I knew Mitch from Football and I always admired him for his positive attitude and dedication to the team and his teammates. Mitch was always very popular in HS and especially so with the ladies...at least that was my impression. I was very glad to reconnect with Mitch via Facebook as I had disconnected from my PHS classmates soon after graduation. May God Bless and Keep Mitch and grant his family and loved ones peace during this most difficult of times. Take good care, my friend. Praying you RIP, always.

I am so sad to hear the loss of Mitch.  I know he had struggles in life and I understand addiction.  I am going through it also but I seem to manage ok right now.  I went to the Senior Ball with Mitch in 1974.  I am praying for the family and just remember he is no longer suffering and is gone to a much better place.  Mitch RIP

Hello to  all friends and family of MItchell. I grew up on Sundberg Ave in San Leandro, the same street as Mitch.

We always were pretty close and I spent quite a bit of time with him at his house and in his backyard playing Army when we were young. He was just about as sweet a person as you could find anywhere. I know that any of you who knew him would say the same.

I am praying for him and his brother and sister during this difficult time.

May he rest in peace eternally.

Charlie
