Janet Hicks - Class Of 1973

Janet Hicks

From RANDY HICKS:

I am deeply saddened to report the passing of my beloved sister Janet (Class of '73) McCormick after a long battle with liver disease. Janet is survived by her two adult daughters, Keri McCormick and Megan Chaney. Despite her long-time health problems, Janet had a zest for life, was kind, caring and compassionate, and was truly loved and admired by all who met her. Despite her passing, those we once enjoyed and deeply loved we can never lose. A funeral service is scheduled to take place at St. Leander's Catholic Church in San Leandro on Monday, February 7, 2022 at 10:00 a.m.

After 20 blissful years of marriage, Janet and the rest of us lost Shawn who died as a result of cancer of the esophagus. Janet worked for many years as a Regional Manager for Crossroads Staffing and as a Senior Customer Service Representative for Pacific Die Cut Industries. Despite Janet's long-time health problems, she touched all of us with her charm, humor, affection, laughter, and her devotion and loyalty to family and all of her many friends. Besides the love of family and friends, Janet had a passion for animals, and her genuine affection for all of the dogs in her life allowed her sweet and warm disposition to shine through.
