Was so sad to hear of the passing of Diana and her brother Jerry. We all grew up together in Mulford Gardens. Diana was one of my best friends, my sister use to go steady with Jerry and whenever they had a date Diana would complain that we never got to go anywhere till her mom made Jerry take us with them on their dates, not all the time. Ha ha ha I remember Diana and I went with her grandmother to their cabin in Clearlake so hot we ended up eating melted peanut butter sandwiches. One year she through me a surprise birthday party. Went on a lot of double dates to the Funhouse in San Francisco, also some great parties at her brother Jerry's house.lushnicks at Redwood park, The greatest honor is when she asked me to be her maid of honor when she married in June of 1970. I could go on and on we had such great fun back then. I will truely miss my friend even though through the years we had lost contact, but thank God for Facebook we could comment on each others posts. The last post is still on my phone "I love you too" RIP DIANA AND JERRY ❤️🌹❤️🌹

I am very sorry that another Viking class of 70 has passed. However, i am, and perhaps we all should be, very grateful to you Denise in sharing your memories of her because it gives us an important glimpse of who she was and how important she would have  been to us  if only we had the priviledge of knowing her. Thank you for sharing those memories.

Wow, it's always hard to hear of another person that you grew up with passing. Diana and I were together alot as we grew up on Fairbanks St. I am not on FB very often but she always seemed to stay upbeat on all her posts. They were a little insight to her current life. This always kept good memories from our early days in the forefront.
We all seem to look back on these things after it is too late to reach out to talk with them.
Diana I hope you are enjoying your favorite ride with all your friends and family.
