I belonged to the San Leandro Royal Family Drum and Bugle Corps. I had marched with the Rhythmettes twirlers for a couple years then went into the Drum and Bugle Corps. carrying a flag. Nancy was captain and a great leader. I had great times going to competitions with the Royal Family Groups. Nancy was always there giving us encouragement. She was a great person to work with.
Nancy was my sister in law, married to David Andrade (class of 66). Although it has been many years since her passing, I still miss her very much. We had so very much fun together and she brought so much joy to our families. She tragically died one year following David. A huge loss for both our families and she will live strongly, in our hearts forever.
