ronnie was left=handed pitcher in school and i caught him for a few years since he was 11yrs old through high school.we worked well together over our younger yrs on baseball teams. i remember his first no-hitter when the little 39ers beat ctu 10-0 when he was 11yrs old. we used to compare him to whitey ford of the ny yankees.
