Karen it's so good to hear from you! I see you are still in the Bay Area. I moved to Amador County in 1977 and have been here ever since. I met my second husband here and have been married for 33 years now.

I see you started your family in your middle 30's, My husband adopted our daughters now aged 42 & 46 and we added one more child to the brood (a son) in 1984. I retired from my job at Amador County Public Health last October and Gary is still working.

We have a few alumni here in the county. Linda DeBritto, Gary & Carol Chapman (no relation) and Kathy Montgomery and also Saranah Sprayberry. I just figured out Saranah lives here. I haven't ever ran across her. Linda runs a local FB page called "Amador Scoop" so I'm pretty up-to-date on what she's up to.

My most vivid memory with you is learning to water ski while vacationing with your family. That trip was so much fun. Happy Birthday tomorrow fellow 49er! Sixty-six years young and counting!
