My best friend Patty was such an excellent mother. She raised a brilliant and beautiful daughter. She cared for her mother and was a wonderful sister. She was a wonderful wife. But as for me, she was my best friend. She was always uplifting and encouraging to me. She made me feel smarter and more fun just being with her. She had a way of enjoying life that was endearing and contagious. We had many many memories together. We were like sisters.
